If you already know medical terminology and medical coding, or have processed medical insurance claims, done data entry jobs, or medical billing or transcriptions before you probably have what it takes: good typing, listening and organizational skills. You might just want to earn some extra cash from home. However, before you can start you'd also need a computer, word processing software, Internet access, and/or a foot pedal transcription system and know where to look for the jobs.
